Initial Session

The initial session may last up to 60 minutes and is required to establish care. During this initial session clients meet with a psychiatric provider for a thorough interview to review and discuss the current problem-concerns, provide demographic information, past medical-psychiatric history, and lifestyle. Together the provider and client discuss treatment goals. If indicated the provider also orders laboratory tests and provides prescriptions either written or by e-prescribing. Referrals may also be discussed.

* Patients are highly encouraged to complete the online intake documentation and screening tools prior to this session. These documents will be completed on the HIPAA compliant portal online and made available to the client when the appointment is booked.

*Laboratory testing fees are the responsibility of the client. Some medication options require laboratory screening. The cost of ordering, retrieving, and interpreting laboratory results is included in the Initial Session fee. For more information on laboratory testing click here.

Focus Session

The Focus Session occurs periodically based on the provider-patient agreed treatment plan. The Focus Session lasts up to 30 minutes. During this session the provider engages in supportive therapy, determines medication efficacy, and provides written or e-prescribed medication(s) refills or changes to medication(s). The treatment plan is reviewed and adjusted as needed.

Focus Sessions may also be completed by phone or video call in accordance with an agreed provider-client treatment plan and goals.

Administrative Fees

The following outlines administrative services and their respective fees.

NO SHOW POLICY AND FEE ; Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment incur a $90 late cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment incur a $125 cancellation fee (including No Shows). This is case by case and may be waived by the provider. We understand life happens.

Other Services: Additional Psychiatric services may be available such as, review of records, second opinion assessments or other administrative services that require psychiatric support outside of direct client care. Fees vary for other administrative services based on complexity.

Persons who desire to utilize insurance for their psychiatric needs may search for a provider who accepts their insurance plan through Psychology Today, Care Dash or Good Therapy . The client’s insurance carrier may also be able to assist in finding a insurance paneled provider. Ask your insurance carrier if they cover out of network costs.

Pricing starts at $849.50 . Cost increases based on the number/time required for complex records reviews, additional collateral resources, increased psychological testing.
